Welcome to the Crenshaw House!

I am George Postell, AU grad of 1975. My wife Lynn, also graduated from Auburn, in 1976. We are the fourth owner of this house, which was built in 1890. All four owners of what is now known as the Crenshaw House, had close ties to Auburn University. Our family has continued this tradition, as all four of our children attended or now attend Auburn University. Our family spans four generations of Auburn graduates, which began with my grandfather by the same name, who graduated from Auburn in 1905. My mother and father are featured in the 1938 and 1940 Glomerata’s that are on display in the center hall of the home. After 30 years of living out of the southeast, while employed as a Navy and now NASA pilot, Lynn and I are most excited about Crenshaw being our Auburn home.
