March 27, 2009… From
the first welcoming words of George, the owner, to the delectable
breakfast by Chris, the inn keeper, we cannot heap praise
any higher than for this marvelous Crenshaw House. It’s
been a memorable stay in our huge, well-kept, clean “suite”.
We appreciate Emily’s cordiality toward Kelly, our Freshman
granddaughter. The warmth of everyone made this the best
home away from home.

March 25, 2009… I
was so thankful to find a place to stay that is not full
of chemical smells – from new carpets, air fresheners, fragrant
laundered sheets. The Crenshaw House is a green B&B
and on my list for safe places to stay – as I am chemical
sensitive. George, the owner, went out of his way to accommodate
our needs and is a good cook – also made us feel welcome
into this beautiful home.

March 21, 2009… George
– Thank you for a wonderful weekend of rest, relaxation and
warm southern hospitality. Crenshaw House has it all – great
location, delicious home-cooked breakfasts, charming and
attentive innkeeper – in a historic, yet comfortable, setting.
We even stayed for an extra night of pampering, a first in
our many years of staying at B&Bs. See you next weekend!

March 13, 2009… We
could not have been happier with our internet “find” of the
Crenshaw House. The Bay Room Suite has been a home away
from home while attending a conference at the Von Misses
Institute. We hope we can return again!

December 27, 2008… What a lovely home-the
Crenshaw House. We had the Bay Room. It was perfect for our wedding night.
The breakfast was scrumptious and the company quite pleasant. Though we only
stayed one night as a stopover of our honeymoon, we will come back for a longer
stay, just to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and that deep, claw footed tub.
Thanks for a wonderful night.

October 20, 2008... Thank
you so much for the hospitality! I have never stayed here before and had to
be in Auburn for my friends' wedding. This was the perfect
place to stay. It was like staying at home with a bunch of my close friends.
Breakfast was delicious! It was great to be able to help the bride get ready
and then have a place to relax. Thank you again for letting me stay an extra
night. Breakfast the next morning was icing on the cake! Thank you for being

October 2008... A truly delightful weekend. The Carriage
House offered privacy but access to the main house for shared activities. Breakfast
consisted of home cooked meals (not all carbs) and enjoyable conversations
about college days, mutual interests and shared experiences. The atmosphere
felt more like a reunion with old friends and family than stilted conversation
among strangers. Patrons and guests enjoyed ball games and more conversation
in the evenings. Hosts were truly hospitable. Will definitely return for
future stays.
