“Blessed By Our Guests”  A few weeks ago, we were blessed by a visit from Coach Pat Dye.  As he gingerly trimmed the branches from the maples around the property, I thought about how often we are unexpectedly blessed by the guests to this historic home.  From guests coming to golf at surrounding courses, to excited high school students coming to see what adventures Auburn University offers, to the college friends of our nephew who help us out and sometimes just come over to hang out in the garden room, we are truly blessed by every person who enters our door.  We hope that each person feels equally welcome and blessed during their visit here.  Please let us know how we can help to make your Auburn stay the best it can be. We are honored to have you here as our “Blessed Guests.”

War Eagle! My name is Danielle Cannady; I was born in Los Angeles, California, but raised just east of Auburn in LaGrange, Georgia. I am currently a junior at Auburn University, and am pursuing my degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management with a minor in Business. When I’m not cooking breakfast here at the loveliest bed and breakfast on the plains, I enjoy reading, spending time with my friends and family, and getting some fresh air with my dog, Parker, and my horse, Elbi, both of whom are also Auburn residents, and die-hard Tiger fans! I love cooking traditional southern breakfast foods like cheese grits, breakfast potatoes, sausage, and scrambled eggs, but one of my favorite dishes to make is a Cinnamon Breakfast Bake. I am also ServSafe certified, and look forward to cooking for you soon!
