“Blessed By Our Guests” A few weeks ago, we were blessed by a visit from Coach Pat Dye. As he gingerly trimmed the branches from the maples around the property, I thought about how often we are unexpectedly blessed by the guests to this historic home. From guests coming to golf at surrounding courses, to excited high school students coming to see what adventures Auburn University offers, to the college friends of our nephew who help us out and sometimes just come over to hang out in the garden room, we are truly blessed by every person who enters our door. We hope that each person feels equally welcome and blessed during their visit here. Please let us know how we can help to make your Auburn stay the best it can be. We are honored to have you here as our “Blessed Guests.”

War Eagle! My name is Danielle Cannady; I’m a Georgia native and soon-to-be graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. I have been with the Crenshaw for over two years now and have loved spending time serving guests and welcoming visitors to Auburn and to the Crenshaw. I enjoy cooking traditional southern breakfast foods, especially cheese grits. After graduating in May I plan to gain further work experience in the lodging industry before attending culinary school to achieve my goal of working as a pastry chef. Though my time at the Crenshaw is drawing to a close as I prepare to enter the professional work force, I have gained so much experience and had the distinct pleasure of meeting the many amazing guests the Crenshaw welcomes each year. My calling has always been in serving others, and I have thrived here at the guest house. It has been an honor cooking for everyone who has passed through our doors, and I look forward to serving you all again in the future.
